Dive Trips Forum

Postby Scubagal » Mon Jul 13, 2009 1:55 pm

Would it be possible to separate the Dive Trips forum so we could have one for local dive trips, one for regional dive trips, and one for fly in trips, i.e. Roatan, FL, Caribbean, Mexico, etc.? If it's too much work, no big deal, just an idea.

Connie,

Should we be posting the dive trips in the members only area or make them viewable to everyone?
I can go ahead and create an additional two forums to accomodate your original request. I just need
to know where to put them. What does everyone else think?

All,

I have created a few new Forums within the Dive Trip Main forum.
I have also moved many of the existing posts into the appropriate sub-forum
There are still a few posts left that i haven't quite figured out where they should go.
I'll work on this some more later, meanwhile enjoy the changes.

So, if you just go into active topics you will just get back everthing not broken out or separate (easier) ???? - whatever way works best

I havent finished sorting out the ones that aren't already in one of the other four folders.
Hopefully it makes more sense this way. If not we can revert to the old way.

I'm kinda liking the way it is. We've got some great trip reports on here!

All trip reports have been moved into the appropriate folder.
You can no longer post new reports in the MAIN folder, however
you CAN post in the sub-forums. Just pick the one that best
represents the trip you are detailing out when posting. I have
NOT deleted ANY posts. I have only sorted them so they are
easier to find.

Again, if there are any suggestions for changes please let me know! :) :) :)

Well I'll admit that I liked the old way, but I guess this works too. From not enough to really almost too many. LOL!

FYI, my CCV/Roatan trips are all a week long if you want to bother moving them.

Regardless, thanks for keeping up on the website Jeff!

John,

I moved your posts to the correct sub-forum. If there are too many
sub-forums just let me know and I'll merge the Fly-in sub-forum with
the Dive Vacations sub-forum.
